Is India ready for a woman president?

What a weird question?

I am wondering how people can ask such questions. Does it matter we have a woman president or even a dog, bull or cow? Does it matter at all who we have as a president? The only legal requirement is age and yeah its difficult to find a bull or cow or any other animal of that age. Two most suitable candidates are then cockroach and tortoise. And both truly symbolize the Indian politics. Cockroach can survive anything like even if you chop its head off, it will die only of starvation because they can't eat without their mouth and they die of hunger and not due to trauma. Indian presidents are supposed to take anything without giving a buzz Well, Tortoise symbolizes the slow moving political development (is it actually moving at all?). A wise man like Kalam can't do anything about Gujrat or Bihar (he didn't do anything when Gujrat was on fire and he put presidential rule in Bihar and forced a re-election when there was a clear democratic government coming up) then what can we expect from a true Gandhi family loyalist. Let's see who is the next president and what does he/she symbolizes. Tortoise, Cow or Cockroach?
