News of the Day -
My blog will now feature news of the day column which will ensure atleast one article a day. The idea is to write about the kind of news that is being sold to unlucky web surfers like us who refresh a news site 30 times a day to read the same boring news. Few days back, the top of the page on one of the most popular news channel read - "Rani is engaged to Aditya" and the bottom of the same page read " Rani denies the rumours of engagement". Well so I am bound to write this column as there is enough supply of ridiculous news out there.
Headline of the day -
"My Daddy's Strongest - Bobby Deol"
The news is about Rajiv Masand's discussion with Bobby Deol (don't ask who is he and who is hid daddy) Well, Bobby Deol was a known person sometime back, I mean before he signed movies like Jhoom Barabar Jhoom or that one with Upen Patel (gosh! I forgot the name of the movie also) and now he has to go ga ga over the strength of his father. Well, by strength perhaps he means that Dharam Paji has to pull the movie alone because Sunny Deol has made a fool of himself by doing "Fool N Final". Poor Bobby and Sunny.
Well, no doubt Dharam Paji is strongest because even at this age he had a strong screen presence in the movie "Life in a Metro". But Bobby explains in the interview that it's the mental and emotional strength he is talking about and not about physical strength. Anyways, for the news channel this news will mean Abhishek giving interview about his daddy being the strongest but everybody knows who is the strongest. Poor Dara Singh, where is his son?
