It;s still raining in Chennai and don't ask about roads.

The cold weather has stretched to its fifth day. It started drizzling on saturday night and rained cats and dogs on monday evening and the weather has become awesome. However, the roads are getting worse and its has become difficult for pedestrians to walk and even for those people who have to take buses as most of the roads are waterlogged. I live in Nungambakkam and currently braced from the waterlogging but today I took a walk down the lane till Valluvarkottam Road which connects Kodambakaam High road to Nungambakkam High road and literally got my feet dirty.

Well, rains for Chennai is not natural and this kind of rain is completely unwanted. It's famous for rain in Nov-Dec and not in June. Last year I remember that the weather was quite pleasant throughout July and August but then the irony is that what we people feel as pleasant is actually inconvenient and a cause of worry for the millions of local residents. Chennai is actually changing. I don't know its good or bad.
